I'm Justin Peek, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and CEO and Founder of PEEK WEALTH. I'm located in Carlsbad, CA, and my team and I have been providing the financial planning and investment needs of client families since 2007.
I began my career in 2004 with Edward Jones Investments. Over an 18-year career, I learned that the most impactful partnerships—where real 'magic' happens between client and advisor—is when there is alignment on values and philosophy.
I'm married to my wife, Denise, whom I met at the University of San Diego. Together we have two daughters, Ryan and London. I'm a citizen of three countries: born in Toronto, Canada, raised in London, England, and an immigrant to San Diego, CA in 1992. My diverse background and perspective is helpful for my clients given the global investment world today. And my family loves to travel globally.
In 2022, I founded PEEK WEALTH out of an overwhelming desire to serve fewer clients more thoroughly and individually in an environment where national firms are more focused on one model for all clients. As a result, I founded a firm that provides a wide range of both established and advanced resources for your life, investments, financial planning, and overall well-being.

This, together with the autonomy and nimbleness of a family style office, provides an enhanced experience for clients to accomplish what's most important to them. I operate under a fiduciary standard as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and my firm serves a limited number of families with the intention of providing the highest level of comprehensive advice to each client.
I'm passionate about my clients' goals and dreams and believe that my style is why they choose to work with my firm. I often say the number one rule when entrusted with the financial stewardship of others is "Don't mess with someone else's money!" As a result, I seek to attract the most successful families in my community who recognize that character and value trumps all else.
Being very involved in my community, I'm a member of the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce, the current Board Chair of the Carlsbad Charitable Foundation, and an Advisory Council member of Scripps Encinitas Hospital. My wife, Denise, and I are also contributors to the Helen-Woodward Animal Center.
I'm an avid reader of both fiction and non-fiction, and a quote I reflect upon often is, "Whatever you do in life, surround yourself with smart people who'll argue with you," by the famed UCLA Coach John Wooden, whom I was fortunate to meet several times in the last few years of the late Wooden's life.
